Oregon-basedNext Level Burger will open its flagship location Saturday in Denver's University neighborhood at 1605 E. Evans Ave., marking the vegan burger joint's ninth location and first in Colorado.

"Next Level Burger is all about fighting climate change, cultivating sustainability and promoting an awesome lifestyle," co-founder and CEO Matt de Gruyter said in a company press release. "Our curated, expansive menu truly offers something for everyone, whether you're vegan, sustainability minded or just looking for an awesome, delicious meal. We're out to re-invent the burger joint for the 21st century."

In addition to burgers, the menu offers Crispy Chik'n sandwiches and tender baskets, as well as organic fries loaded up "Chili Chz style," "Beer Chz style" and "Fire style." Shakes are hand-spun with organic, house-made soy or coconut soft-serve ice cream and come in an array of flavors from Cookies n' Cream, with house-made gluten-free chocolate cookies, to a Strawberry Shake blended with organic strawberries.

The Denver location features an elevated fast casual experience with vibrant colors and warm, sustainable wood in the 40-seat dining room, as well as additional patio seating, de Gruyter said.
